Transformers Poster

A cool way to show off your love of Transformers is by showing off a Transformers Poster in your room or home.  There are lots of different kinds to but so we will discuss a few of them here.

The most popular of the posters for Transformers out right now are the Transformers movie posters.  Since the movies have been so popular even people who are not fans of the old Transformers series of cartoons are putting up transformers posters.  Especially of Megan Fox.

Movies (and by extension movie posters) based on former television shows have largely been huge hits.  Batman is a great example that immediately comes to mind.  The success of children’s shows like Transformers and Batman reincarnated as hit films for adults have movie goers wondering if hit adult television shows are next in line for the big screen.  Perhaps the global success of Sex and the City will inspire a studio to finance a Sopranos movie or an epilogue movie to the Lost final season (ABC’s hit show concluding in 2010).

There is also a good variety of posters of the original Transformers out there that are not hard to come by and can go a long way towards showing off your total Transformers geekness. Fortress Maximus

 The G1 Fortress Maximus toy is an awesome find for any body that loves the Generation 1 Transformers series of toys.  Fortress Maximus is the largest G1 Transformers toy and was also the most expensive of these toys.  In fact, at $89.95, Fortress Maximus was the most expensive Transformers toy in the U.S.  It was released in 1987 and the next Transformers toy that reached that price would not be available for another twenty years!  This made buying Fortress Maximus difficult for most and results in an extremely rare Transformers G1 action figure.

Fortress Maximus can "transform" into several modes.  He can transform to robot mode, city mode and battle station mode.

This is a video review for the Transformers G1 Bruticus Combaticons.  This is the complete set of generation 1 combaticons in vehicle for, then transformed to robot form, then combined to form Bruticus.  This is a great video review of a great G1 set of Transformers.

Check out this original G1 Transformers Grimlock review.  Grimlock itself is in amazing shape for being so old.  This Transformers video review shows how to transform Grimlock from robot form to dinosaur form.

Grimlock is the most powerful of the Dinobots.  Grimlock generally conciders himself superior to Optimus Prime but still follows the Autobots direction.

Awesome video of a custom Optimus Prime costume.  Original G1 looking Optimus Prime.  Not really something you could actually walk around in, it looks more like a statue.

This costume is really a piece of work, even the neighborhood stop and take a look while Optimus gets dressed.

While Optimus Prime recovers from his fall from the cliff and the Autobots work on saving Bumblebee, the Decepticons escape from the trap the Autobots got them in.

Ironhide goes after the Decepticons and get blown out of the air.  Not sure what Ironhide thought he was going to do against twenty flying decepticons...

Episode 2 of the Transformers Original Series picks up where Episode 1 left off.  In this Episode, Soundwave sneaks in to the Autobots headquarters and steals information of the best places for energy resources on Earth.  He takes his newly acquired info back to Megatron who begins a new evil plan to steal Earths resources.

Best line of this episode comes from Optimus Prime, "Stick it in neutral Megatron, you're not going anywhere!"

The complete first episode of the original Transformers series.  This is a classic video and full of information that is later changed in newer versions.

The first Episode of the Transformers shows the origins of the Aubotots and Decepticons.  Having run out of energy resources, the Autobots decided to find new sources.  As they leave planet Cybertron however, the Decepticons persue and try to hijack the Autobots ship.  There is an accident and the two ships fall onto an unkown planet!
