Fortress Maximus

 The G1 Fortress Maximus toy is an awesome find for any body that loves the Generation 1 Transformers series of toys.  Fortress Maximus is the largest G1 Transformers toy and was also the most expensive of these toys.  In fact, at $89.95, Fortress Maximus was the most expensive Transformers toy in the U.S.  It was released in 1987 and the next Transformers toy that reached that price would not be available for another twenty years!  This made buying Fortress Maximus difficult for most and results in an extremely rare Transformers G1 action figure.

Fortress Maximus can "transform" into several modes.  He can transform to robot mode, city mode and battle station mode.

Grimlock is the most powerful of the Dinobots.  Grimlock generally conciders himself superior to Optimus Prime but still follows the Autobots direction.

While Optimus Prime recovers from his fall from the cliff and the Autobots work on saving Bumblebee, the Decepticons escape from the trap the Autobots got them in.

Ironhide goes after the Decepticons and get blown out of the air.  Not sure what Ironhide thought he was going to do against twenty flying decepticons...

Episode 2 of the Transformers Original Series picks up where Episode 1 left off.  In this Episode, Soundwave sneaks in to the Autobots headquarters and steals information of the best places for energy resources on Earth.  He takes his newly acquired info back to Megatron who begins a new evil plan to steal Earths resources.

Best line of this episode comes from Optimus Prime, "Stick it in neutral Megatron, you're not going anywhere!"

The first Episode of the Transformers shows the origins of the Aubotots and Decepticons.  Having run out of energy resources, the Autobots decided to find new sources.  As they leave planet Cybertron however, the Decepticons persue and try to hijack the Autobots ship.  There is an accident and the two ships fall onto an unkown planet!
